E-GIVING
The Bible challenges us to give our first, best and most prized back to God and to do so optimistically (Leviticus 27.30, 2 Corinthians 9.7). This first is the tithe, or “tenth” of our income. The word “tithe” is derived from the Hebrew word ma’aser and it literally means a tenth. We return to the Lord the first 10% of what He’s given us, because it belongs to Him. The tithe is a very practical and tangible way to put God first.
E-giving is a safe and easy way to support the ministry efforts of Canadian Hills Church of the Nazarene by making a one-time offering or establishing a recurring tithe/offering.

Benefits of E-Giving
There are several benefits for both you and the church:
1. First Fruits – Genesis 4 begins to paint a picture of ways we give back to God through faithfulness via our first-fruits (the first 10% of what we make). By setting up a recurring contribution that is scheduled to come out of your account on the day you specify you can ensure that your First Fruits are given back to God.
2. Simple – You will not need to remember if you gave this month or send in your offering checks when you are out of town.
3. Secure – E-giving is more secure than giving with a check in that an electronic gift can’t be lost or stolen.
4. Saves Time – Instead of needing to worry about writing your contribution check during the service, you can be fully engaged with the worship service, knowing that you have already given your offering.

Giving Policy: A Tithing Church
Canadian Hills Church calls people to a life of stewardship including tithing our income. As a church body we also practice tithing. We give a minimum of 10% of all tithes and offerings in any kind of donation to the ministries of the world wide Church. That means that 10% of every gift supports other ministries around OKC and the world.
